Pearlizers are cosmetic additives incorporated into formulations to create a pearlescent, visually elegant finish, an effect highly valued by consumers. All pearlizers in our range are cold processable blends, that are easily incorporated into final formulations while delivering an excellent pearly effect. They are compatible with a wide variety of formulation systems.
Pearlizers
Pearling agents are widely used in cleansing cosmetic products to improve their appearance. When they are added to a formulation, a white product with a high shiny and brilliant appearance is obtained, giving them a rich and luxurious look. Many different materials can be used to obtain the pearl effect but a hot process is needed if waxes are used directly. In order to save time and energy, Kao Chemicals Europe has developed a complete range of pearling products ready to be used in a cold process.
