Solutions for fire resistant Hydraulic Fluids
HFA-E hydraulic fluid is an oil-in-water emulsion with more than 80% of water content.
These types of hydraulic fluids are widely used in areas where there is a risk of fire due to the exposure to high temperatures, such as minery, iron steel production and automotive manufacturing industrie, but a lot of them are also used in agriculture applications.
KAO FINDET and AKYPO® ROX are multifunctional, low foaming, non-ionic emulsifiers designed to meet the severe conditions of hydraulic fluids.
The AKYPO solutions, made of ether carboxylic acids, are the perfect co-emulsifiers for HFA-E fluids as they provide essential additional properties to their emulsification performance, which are essential for high-performance of HFA-E hydraulic fluids. Such additional properties are:
