We collaborate with the communities around us with the aim of contributing to the social development and well-being of people with a long-term perspective and making their challenges and objectives our own.
During 2022, KCG has carried out the usual tasks of cleaning the banks of the Rhine River while KCHI carried out a dissemination activity on bird ringing. Once again, KCSA has contributed to the reforestation of the green area surrounding the town of Mollet del Vallès, participating in the traditional "Festa de l'arbre".
In all KCE subsidiaries, partnerships have been established with educational institutions such as high schools or universities for internships at the company's workplaces. In this context, KCG supports the local schools with financial donations. KCSA has continued with its programme of support for students of intermediate and advanced chemistry degrees, through the granting of scholarships to facilitate the continuation of their studies. The scholarship students belong to the secondary schools of Barberà del Vallès and Mollet del Vallès.
KCG collaborates regularly with various local institutions through donations and sponsorship actions for the Municipal Fire Brigade and various cultural and sports associations to promote healthy habits.
QK collaborates through monetary and product donations with the Padre Pío Shelter and the 12 Apostles Community Kitchen, as well as with the Civil Hospitals Foundation of Guadalajara. In 2022, the company collaborated with the Volunteers Against Cancer association and continued with its product donation programme to various institutions.
In Spain, KCHI and KCSA participate in food collection initiatives in collaboration with local institutions, the Food Bank and the Red Cross, as well as in the collection of toys for the Red Cross campaign in Mollet and Olesa and the Social Services of Barberà del Vallès.
KCSA has sponsored the publication Notes, promoted by the Centre d'Estudis Molletans affiliated to the City Council of Mollet del Vallès and the Premi de Recerca Vila d'Olesa, dedicated to the promotion of knowledge about the historical, economic and socio-cultural reality of the town and promoted by the city council.
KCHI has sponsored the children's team of the Club de Futbol L'Olleria and KCSA the children's team of the Futbol Club Mollet.
